Kay Banvu Khayla is a short film that explores the world of Reva, a young adult, troubled with daily decision making about every little thing, struggles yet again as she tries to decide what to cook for the day. The visual concept of the film is inspired by the zen concept of Monkey Mind. In this story, Reva is an overthinker and her thoughts are extremely restless and annoying like a monkey. Having living alone, every decision she has to make is like a battle with thoughts.

This idea inspires from how whenever we have to take a decision, our mind comes up with tons of options leaving us confused. The monkeys in this story represent the thought version of the primary character. For some, controlling these monkeys is easy and they quickly come up with decision but some are overthinkers for whom these thought monkeys take over them. This idea of monkeys representing thoughts is inspired from the zen concept of monkey mind where our mind acts like monkeys jumping from one thing to another.
